Packing
Many have asked me what do you pack for such a trip. Lite is the big key. And all in one bag. For those interested here’s my packing list
Clothing
3 pairs pants, all the zipoff leg kind
4 t shirts
1 short sleeve collared shirt
1 long sleeve collared shirt
1 long sleeve T
2 boxers
6 pairs sock’s
1 swimsuit
1 gortex rain jacket
1 rain pants
1 fleece
1 flip flops – to wear in the shower
1 sandle’s – tiva/keen style for warm days
1 hiking shoes.
1 hat
Toiletries-all small quantities as they can be replenished on the road
Med kit – for the length of my trip and the out of the way places this needs to be more advanced that the typical traveler needs. It’s fairly extensive with basis emergency medical supplies and includes the extras – snake bit, syringes with my own needles, IV catheters, and oral re-hydration salts.
